Losing Another 5

Hello everyone! How have you been doing? Things have been busy on my end. Busy and stressful, but that’s almost everyone’s life, right? When you’re busy and stressed, you’re usually not eating as healthy or weighing out your food like you should, or you might be stress eating, or you may have slipped up and had too much sugar and have now been craving it each day for weeks… How about all of the above? Well that’s me right now. Luckily I’ve been keeping it together pretty well, but let me tell ya, I don’t like seeing this:

156.2 pounds puts me at 5.2 pounds over my “Half A Human” weight. I have allowed a 5 pound swing, so technically I’m only 0.2 pounds over and this is in the middle of the day after a shower (look at all of these excuses!) But the point is, it’s been a couple of weeks since I have seen 151.0 pounds or near it on my scale.

I feel it is human nature. If I’m allowed allowed to go up to 156.0 pounds before I start to worry, I’m most likely going to stay at my high numbers. And I don’t like that. I want to be “Half A Human”.

So I’m going to lose another 5 pounds. I’m going to get down to 146.0 allowing for a 5 pound swing of 141.0 – 151.0 pounds. That way I will always be at my self proclaimed target, half my body weight.

I’m not really excited about essentially losing 10 pounds…I wanted to be done with the losing and enjoying the maintaining! But this will be better for my health any way.

Wish me luck! I’ll keep you all posted! Have you had to readjust a health goal? What was it? Were you satisfied with the outcome? Let us know below! And have a great one!

As you’ve lived it with me you know, I’ve been on and off ‘diets’ my entire life. You have the key to success as you do not diet, you have changed your life style. I have no doubt you will reach your goal as you have iron determination. Many people never advance beyond the ‘I wish’ stage because they do not plan whereas you put your thoughts into action through solid planning. I’m excited to see you meet your goal.

I was maintaining between 138 and 142. Sadly, this summer i let excuses slip as well. I really used my surgery as a big one. Well, enough of that. I need to go back to only 25% carbs (recommended by a doctor). My target weight was 132 and i never made it. But, I am 150 now and kinda sad about it. At the same time do not regret my tasty treats without guilt. Back to healthy eating. Also note: every one reading this I am only 5’2.

      Hello Kristy!
You will get there! I know a handful of people that have success on low carb diets. Not only are they losing weight but they feel better too.
You said you need to go back to 25% carbs, meaning you have already done it before. It’s excellent that you have a plan that you know works for you! I’m excited for you that you are back on it and moving in the right direction for health!
